Provides organizational and conceptual support to the SEVP Human Resources, Administration & Finance in managing and steering a modern, efficient university administration.
Ensures the integrity and transparency of research, teaching and innovation based on the TUM Code of Conduct, the TUM Respect Guide, and the Statute on Safeguarding Good Academic Practice.
Manages TUM's central personnel affairs and supports employees and their supervisors in all matters relating to employment.
Finance
Manages the university’s finances, from budgetary and third-party funds, staff positions and travel expenses to tax matters and financial accounting.
Real Estate
Manages the construction and building operations of the various campuses to provide the best possible structural and technical infrastructure for research and teaching.
Legal Office
Advises on a wide range of legal issues, drafts and negotiates contracts (e.g. research cooperations), and manages TUM's legal affairs.
Diversity & Inclusion
Shapes the university's gender and diversity strategy and supports students and staff with programs, events, and family services.
Internal Audit
Provides independent audit and consulting services for the university administration and audits the university’s use of funds and disbursing offices.
IT Security
Ensures the availability, confidentiality and integrity of the IT infrastructure through policies and recommendations, and monitors compliance.
Export control
Export Control provides support in foreign trade (e.g. BAFA applications) and advises on proliferation risks in international research collaborations.
Sustainability Office
Sets strategic goals of sustainability and climate protection together with staff and students for a future-proof university.
