The TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning invites all employees to virtual short workshops on digital tools and artificial intelligence. The focus: concrete tools and practical tips for administration and science management.
Workshop program on July 24 and 25
- The program on both course days starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m.
- All courses take place online (zoom or teams) and are limited to a duration of 60 minutes.
- All TUM employees can participate, participation is free of charge. You will receive the access data from us by email in good time before the start.
- The Learning Days will be held in German. We are planning an English-language offer.
Workshops on July 24
- 8.30-9.30 a.m.: Work efficiently with Outlook: Automate work processes using rules, quick steps, etc.;
- 9.30-10.30 a.m.: Digital travel management system BayRMS;
- 10.30-11.30 a.m.: Scientific research with AI tools;
- 11.30-12.30 p.m.: Translate texts into English with Grammarly;
- 12.30-1.30 p.m.: AI for beginners;
- 1.30-2.30 p.m.: Firehouse Session: AI at TUM – Innovative Projects and Lessons Learned;
- 2.30-3.30 p.m.: IT security and data protection;

- 8.30-9.30 a.m.: TUM Trust Center;
- 9.30-10.30 a.m.: Introduction to Microsoft 365;
- 10.30-11.30 a.m.: MS Teams for Collaboration & Communication;
- 11.30-12.30 p.m.: Prompting Techniques;
- 12.30-1.30 p.m.: AI for AI beginners Appointment 2;
- 1.30-2.30 p.m.: Microsoft Co-Pilot in Office applications;
- 2.30-3.30 p.m.: AI in public administration: ethical and legal aspects;
